Honors Mini Project

Please see emailed version for exact specs...
Students must create a roadmap of HWY 19 in Chiefland that lists businesses and other landmarks on the intersections (see the example of Archer Rd in Gainesville given).
Project must be done in pen or marker on poster board.
There must be at least 3 cross streets and 10 landmarks on the map.
After drawing the map, students must write a statement to identify 1 of each type pair of landmarks (corresponding, alternate interior, alternate exterior, same side interior, vertical, and adjacent).
Both the map and the statements will be part of the final grade which counts as a quiz grade.
There is some creative flexibility allowed in the exact placement of larger buildings (like Walmart) or buildings that don't sit exactly on a corner. This will make the drawing of the map easier on the end result.

TESTS MONDAY

There will be a test in BOTH Honors and regular Geometry on Monday 9/17. 
The regular test will cover material including points, lines, planes, segments, angles, and angle pairs. 
The Honors test will cover everything mentioned above as well as Midpoint and Distance formulas. 

Email List for Notes

I have started a sign up list for students who wish to receive a supplementary copy of notes in addition to the notes they take during class.  This will not replace their obligation to take notes on their own; however, some students find it helpful to have the full version of notes available to them.  If a student is interested, they simply need to add their name and email to the list and I will create an email list and email each set of notes as it is finished which may mean it is the following day.
